How is an oxygen plant different from an oxygen concentrator or oxygen generator?
Oxygen concentrators are usually small portable units made for home use. An ON2 oxygen plant is a facility system built for continuous, around-the-clock use, sized to your clinic from 10 LPM up to 1,000 LPM. That's why every ON2 cabinet says oxygen plant.
How much space do I need?

Can I put it in a closet?

Maintain service access, fresh-air intake and model-specific exhaust ventilation.
How loud is it?
Noise depends on the model: Aura 10/20 are approximately 56–59 dBA. Ask ON2 for the model-specific sound level and recommended location for Aura 40/80 and Duplex rather than applying one figure to every plant.
What voltage does it need?

Does the room need ventilation?
Yes. The plant needs fresh air and heat removal. Preliminary room guidance is 500 CFM for Aura 20/40 and 1,500 CFM for Aura 80/Duplex; ON2 confirms ventilation for the selected model and site before installation. Aura 10 ventilation is confirmed with ON2. Your contractor prepares the room and exhaust system to the approved site requirements.
Is shipping and installation included?
Yes — always included in your purchase. 10/20 LPM units use Plug & play connections (about 10 minutes on site). 40/80 LPM units are professionally installed in under 2 hours. We schedule around your clinic — end of day or Friday afternoons so you never lose patient time.
Will you remove my old equipment?
Yes. We disconnect your old system, install the new one, and haul away the old equipment at no extra charge.
What's the warranty if my unit needs service?
Every system ships with a comprehensive manufacturer warranty plus our unit-replacement guarantee. If anything goes wrong, we ship a replacement and our team handles the swap so your clinic stays on oxygen — zero downtime. We monitor system health remotely so we often catch issues before you do.
What are the next steps after I purchase?
Our service team contacts you within 1–2 business days to review the installation schedule, send power and ventilation specs to your electrician, walk through delivery logistics, and confirm site readiness before shipping. Typical lead time is 8–12 weeks after paperwork is complete.
Is the oxygen hospital-grade?
Yes. ON2 generates hospital-grade O₂ — the same standard used in human hospitals worldwide. The system is built to ISO 13485, NFPA 99, and MDSAP standards.
Do I still need oxygen cylinders?
No more bulk cylinder purchases. We recommend keeping one small backup cylinder for power outages only. Most of our hospital installations haven't touched their backup cylinders in 7+ years.
What are the ongoing costs after I purchase?
Annual preventive maintenance is included in the 5-year warranty.
Are there any other costs?
Other costs depend on the site and your quote; ON2 confirms any site-preparation costs before you proceed.
What does it cost to run?
Very little. 10/20 LPM units run roughly $1–2/day in electricity. 40/80 LPM units run roughly $5–8/day, depending on your state's rates.
